Rutherford County EMS is the sole 911 provider in Rutherford County for Emergency Medical Services. We strive for excellence in caring for the sick and injured with well trained Communications Officers, EMTs, and Paramedics. We are a certified Training Center for the American Heart Association and our instructors are all Paramedics or EMT-IVs. Everyone should know CPR!!! It is our belief that you can be a bystander or a lifesaver.

Rutherford County EMS Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the Rutherford County EMS Education Division to assure that continuing education programs are of the highest quality and designed to prepare EMTs and Paramedics to competency in an ever-changing health care environment. We will do so by building on the wisdom of the past, the realities of the present and the promise of the future. We will encourage all EMS professionals to participate in lifelong learning with integrity, honesty, and a commitment to the life of others. We will take a leadership role in EMS education and offer out-reach education to our community.
