PALS Update/Recert Description Information PALS Update/Recert The PALS course covers: pediatric emergencies, concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric, assessment, BLS, PALS treatment algorithm, effective resuscitation, team dynamics. PALS training is intended for healthcare professionals required to initiate, participate, or direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for a PALS Card. This course is open to ALL students new, current, and expired. However, if you do not have a current PALS card you will not be eligible for remediation on either the written or skills exams. All students must have a current AHA PALS Provider manual at their PALS class. You must give us 30 days written notice to cancel as all of our instructors are booked based on the number of students registerered in order to receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee.
